Company profile :: History

 

In 1955 Mrs. Jeannot De Cleyn associates with Albert Rudelsheim, an Antwerp diamond dealer. They open a shop at nr. 52 Vestingstraat, Antwerp and specialise in pearls and diamonds. After 15 years, the shop getting too small, they move to nr. 40 Vestingstraat. The window display shows rubies, emeralds, sapphires and of course diamonds.

In 1971 her son Ludo, who finished his studies at Arts et Métiers, joins the business.

In 1982 they decide to acquire nr. 14 Vestingstraat and settle down.

In 1999 Sophie, daughter of Ludo, who finished her studies of jewellery in Antwerp, joins the family clan. She represents the third generation of a family passionated with jewellery and things of beauty.
